We look forward to seeing you this Friday, 21st October 2022, for the launch of our exhibition OFF THE BEATEN TRACK at the Summerleaze Gallery 6.00 – 8.00 pm. If you are unable to come on Friday we are open daily from Saturday 22nd until Sunday 30th, 11.00 am to 4.00pm.

Directions by road:

If approaching from either the North or South along the A350 do not go into the village of East Knoyle. Continue along the by-pass and take the turning to West Tisbury. This is Millbrook Lane. Proceed along the lane for a mile and our turning to the gallery is on the left. Google Maps.

Tim Scott Bolton has, from an early age, with both rod and paint box, mucked about in, on or beside water. In A Brush with Rivers, he visits Kenya, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Ireland and Russia – but most of the waters beautifully illustrated are the glorious salmon rivers of Scotland and the crystal-clear chalk streams of southern England.

A Brush with Brown, The Landscapes of ‘Capability’ Brown’.

Celebrating the 300th Anniversary of Capability Brown. Tim Scott Bolton has painted Capability Brown landscapes and other settings across the UK for an exhibition in 2016 ahead of the Capability Brown festival, and for the release of his incredible book 'A Brush with Brown'.

Commissions

Tim regularly accepts commissions and is able to work in watercolour and oil both here and abroad. Typically the subjects have been landscapes, local rivers and house portraits but he is happy to undertake conversation pieces and interiors; anything is considered!
