Wylye Valey Art Trail 2019The Wylye Valley Art Trail 2019 is a 10 day festival of visual art and craft in and around the Wylye Valley, South Wiltshire, from Saturday 18 May to (Bank Holiday) Monday 27 May 2019 .

The Summerleaze Gallery will host an exhibition with works by five internationally renowned artists who live locally to East Knoyle who are coming together to exhibit landscapes, portraits and still life’s during the festival.

Works exhibited by: Tim Scott Bolton, Tony Connolly, Tom Hoar, Paul MacDermot & Lucy Portman.

A Brush with Rivers. Reflections on Angling and Painting.

Tim Scott Bolton has, from an early age, with both rod and paint box, mucked about in, on or beside water. In A Brush with Rivers, he visits Kenya, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Ireland and Russia – but most of the waters beautifully illustrated are the glorious salmon rivers of Scotland and the crystal-clear chalk streams of southern England.

Celebrating the 300th Anniversary of Capability Brown. Tim Scott Bolton has painted Capability Brown landscapes and other settings across the UK for an exhibition in 2016 ahead of the Capability Brown festival, and for the release of his incredible book 'A Brush with Brown'.

Commissions

Tim regularly accepts commissions and is able to work in watercolour and oil both here and abroad. Typically the subjects have been landscapes, local rivers and house portraits but he is happy to undertake conversation pieces and interiors; anything is considered!
