The Summerleaze Gallery is situated in an exceptionally peaceful and beautiful corner of Wiltshire, yet within easy reach of London by road and rail. There are two beautiful exhibition galleries converted from farm buildings, each having a wonderful sense of space and light.

The Gallery has occasional special exhibitions.  Between these, the gallery shows a selection of local living artists and is open by appointment. The space is also available to hire for exhibitions or private parties.

Anthony and Josephine Connolly run a programme of painting courses throughout the year. For details, contact Josephine at j@josephinec.co.uk

A Brush with Rivers. Reflections on Angling and Painting.

Tim Scott Bolton has, from an early age, with both rod and paint box, mucked about in, on or beside water. In A Brush with Rivers, he visits Kenya, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Ireland and Russia – but most of the waters beautifully illustrated are the glorious salmon rivers of Scotland and the crystal-clear chalk streams of southern England.

A Brush with Brown, The Landscapes of ‘Capability’ Brown’.

Celebrating the 300th Anniversary of Capability Brown. Tim Scott Bolton has painted Capability Brown landscapes and other settings across the UK for an exhibition in 2016 ahead of the Capability Brown festival, and for the release of his incredible book 'A Brush with Brown'.

Commissions

Tim regularly accepts commissions and is able to work in watercolour and oil both here and abroad. Typically the subjects have been landscapes, local rivers and house portraits but he is happy to undertake conversation pieces and interiors; anything is considered!

Limited Edition Prints

The Prints section shows details of all the 'River' prints completed over the past couple of years. The fine-art prints are produced on high-quality archival paper and can be supplied framed if you wish.   More info >>
